I invented this recipe to satisfy my family's love of pasta and zucchini fresh out of the garden. It tastes just like its name and I just had to share this yummy" because it's too good to keep to myself. Everyone raves about this fresh tasting dish and always come back for morë.
1Heat olive oil in large all purpose pan and saute the onion, bell pepper, cilantro , zucchini, italian sausage, mushrooms and all seasonings till sausage is cooked.
2Add the can of tomatoes to the pan( breaking into smaller pieces with fingers). Stir well and bring mixture to a simmer. Cover pan and cook on low 10 minutes for flavors to blend. Add the can of pasta sauce and sliced salame and simmer till well heated. Adjust seasoning and add more garlic salt if desired.
3Plate and add a generous amount of grated parmesan cheese on each serving.
