tortellini salad
I got this recipe from a co-worker and made it for the first time today. It is like eating candy!

Ingredients
- 1 bunch broccoli, fresh cut into bite size pieces
- 1/4 cup golden raisins
- 1/4 cup craisins
- 1/2 - red onion, chopped
- 1 package refrigerator tortellini
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 pound bacon (or use bacon bits)
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
How To Make tortellini salad

Step 1Cook bacon until crisp. Drain, crumble and set aside.

Step 2Cook tortellini as directed on package.

Step 3Blanch broccoli in boiling water just until the color starts to turn and immediately remove from heat and run under cold water.

Step 4In a salad bowl, toss together broccoli, tortellini, raisins, craisins and red onions.

Step 5In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar, vinegar and mayonnaise. Pour over broccoli mixture and toss to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Step 6Before serving, sprinkle with sunflower seeds and crumbled bacon. Toss and serve.
