steak parmesan lasagna
This new lasagna recipe is in the style of chicken Parmesan, but I substituted steak and used steak sauce along with the ricotta and marinara.

Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 - beef top sirloin steaks, sliced into 1/2 strips (6 oz each)
- 1 medium red onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons steak seasoning
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 egg whites
- 4 tablespoons steak sauce, divided
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
How To Make steak parmesan lasagna

Step 1Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 3Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add steak strips and cook for 8 minutes or until tender and well done. Stir in diced red onion and season with steak seasoning. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 4In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta, cream cheese, egg whites, and 2 teaspoons steak sauce; whisk together until blended and creamy. Set aside.

Step 5In a large bowl, combine the marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and remaining steak sauce; Mix well and set aside.

Step 6Spread about 1/3 of the marinara sauce mixture over the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with 3 lasagna noodles,1/2 the ricotta mixture and 1/2 the steak strips mixture. Sprinkle with 1/2 the Monterey jack and Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers.

Step 7Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for 10 minutes.
