1/2 box
pasta shells, giant
2 c
spinach, fresh
2 c
ricotta cheese
1 c
mozzarella cheese,shredded and divided
1
egg
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
onion powder
salt/pepper to taste
2 c
marinara sauce
1/2 c
parmesan cheese

How to Make Spinach Stuffed Shells

Step-by-Step

  • 1cook pasta "al dente" according to package.
  • 2chop Spinach and in a bowl combine with ricotta,1/2 the mozzarella, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and the parmesan cheese.
  • 3pour half the marinara sauce in an oven proof shallow dish, drain and cool the shells and stuff each equally with the filling.
  • 4align in dish and pour the rest of marinara sauce on top as well as the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
  • 5bake uncovered 30 mins, until nice and bubbly...serve warm with garlic toast and salad if desired.
