spicy salmon pasta
This spicy sauce has a lot more kick than the average pasta sauce. i like to use veggie fettuccine for extra nutrients. It reheats fantastically and is a great way to use canned salmon instead of the same old croquettes.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces fettuccine
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup diced red onion
- 3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 can salmon (7.5-8 oz) drained
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
- 1 1/2 tablespoons italian seasoning
- 1 pound roma tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup white wine
- to taste - salt
- to taste - pepper
- 4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
How To Make spicy salmon pasta

Step 1Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, toss with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Keep warm.

Step 2Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in large pan or wok over medium heat. Add onions. Cook, stirring until softened.

Step 3Add red pepper, Italian seasoning, and drained salmon. Break up salmon. Stir in dill, tomatoes and wine and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low, simmer for 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 4Mound pasta on plates, top with salmon pasta sauce. Garnish with parsley and cheese.
