Ingredients
- 12 ounces dry spaghetti pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 8 ounces can diced tomatoes
- 2 cans (3.75 ounces each) skinless boneless sardines in tomato sauce
- 4 ounces sliced pitted black olives
- 1 tablespoon small capers, drained
- 2-3 tablespoons chopped italian parsley
How To Make spaghetti with sardines

Step 1Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.

Step 2heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan and add garlic, chili flakes, diced tomato, olives, sardines, capers and parsley, heating several minutes until hot and breaking the sardines into chunks (but not pulverizing them).

Step 3Toss the spaghetti with the sauce, adding a little of the pasta water as needed to control consistency.
