Ingredients For spaghetti with sardines

12 ozdry spaghetti pasta

1 Tbspolive oil

2 clovegarlic, minced

1 pinchred pepper flakes

8 ozcan diced tomatoes

2 can(3.75 ounces each) skinless boneless sardines in tomato sauce

4 ozsliced pitted black olives
-
1 Tbspsmall capers, drained

2-3 Tbspchopped italian parsley
How To Make spaghetti with sardines

1Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.

2heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan and add garlic, chili flakes, diced tomato, olives, sardines, capers and parsley, heating several minutes until hot and breaking the sardines into chunks (but not pulverizing them).

3Toss the spaghetti with the sauce, adding a little of the pasta water as needed to control consistency.
