yield 4-6 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 package pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • - salt
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 pound 90/10 or 93/7 ground beef
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic
  • - seasoning salt
  • - galic powder
  • - onion powder
  • - black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red peppers
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce or homemade marinara
  • 1/3 cup cheddar cheese cubed

How To Make spaghetti with meat sauce

  • Step 1
Boil water, salt the water and add pasta. Cook the pasta as directed on package.
  • Step 2
Heat oil, add onions and Italian seasoning to skillet. Salt the onions so they sweat and don't burn.
  • Step 3
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Step 4
Place the ground beef on top of the onions and break it up with a spatula. Season lightly with the next four ingredients.
  • Step 5
When meat is no longer pink add worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, diced tomatoes cook for 1 minute.
  • Step 6
Add spaghetti sauce and cheese then simmer until the meat sauce is the consistency you like.
  • Step 7
I like to add the meat sauce on top of my pasta or you could mix it all together.
