spaghetti sauce

This is a recipe from my great-grandmother, on my father's side. My Granma still makes this recipe and it's a great one (especially for those who aren't a fan of spaghetti sauce!)

Ingredients

  • 1 package pepperoni
  • 3 or 4 - pork chops
  • 1 - garlic clove
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 quart tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 3/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 3/4 teaspoon sweet basil
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make spaghetti sauce

  • Step 1
    Fry pork chops until brown, and add pepperoni, garlic and onion. Fry together for 3 or four minutes. Add salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Add tomatoes and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add oregano, sweet basil, and tomato paste and 4 cans of water. Cook about 1hr on med to low.
