Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti, whole-wheat
- 6 slices bacon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large egg
- 2 large egg white
- 2/3 cup parmesan, grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
How To Make spaghetti carbonara

Step 1Cook spaghetti using package directions. Drain and keep warm.

Step 2Cut bacon slices into 1 inch pieces. Cook in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp.

Step 3Add garlic and cook stirring continuously, until fragrant, 30 seconds.

Step 4Whisk egg and egg white in small bowl.

Step 5Add spaghetti to skillet; toss to combine.

Step 6Remove skillet from heat. Immediately add eggs, Parmesan, salt and pepper; toss to coat. Serve at once.
