Add to Grocery List

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margerine
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 3/4 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    seasoned salt, (lawry's)
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 c
    elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 - 16oz. can(s)
    stewed tomatoes, italian-style

How to Make Skillet Macaroni and Cheese


  1. Melt butter or margerine in a large skillet. Add beef, seasonings and onion.
    Saute until the the meat is browned.
    Add tomatoes.
  2. Bring to a boil.
    Add macaroni. Cover and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes (or until the macaroni is tender.)
    Stir occasionally.
    Stir in parmesean and cheddar cheese.
  3. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Enjoy !
