My girls love this. I make it with left over steamed shrimp.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This quick and easy pasta salad recipe is sure to be a hit at your next party. Steaming the shrimp in beer makes them pretty tasty. The Old Bay adds tons of flavor too. The celery and onions add a bit of crunch to the salad. Very tasty! The Test Kitchen

  • 1 to 1 1/2 c
mayonnaise, more or less depending on how creamy you want it

How to Make Shrimp Pasta Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Steam Shrimp. If you have a rice steamer, great. If you have an insert for a pan, that will work. Put the beer in a pot in place of water. Add the steamer basket and fill with shrimp.
  2. Pour in 1/2 cup of Old Bay seasoning. Cut up some onions and add. Cover with a lid. Place pot on stove top. Cook shrimp until pink (should be about 8 to 10 minutes on medium). When done, peel shrimp cut into two's.
  3. Now for the salad. Add shrimp to cooled cooked pasta and remaining ingredients. Cool in the fridge.
