I have been making this for years, It always tastes fantastic even though I break a few culinary rules eg. cheese and seafood. My sister and I found a recipe 25 years ago ...don't remember where we first saw it, but with all the tweaks we call it our own ....it is delicious!
1Melt Butter. Saute garlic, onion and thyme, about 3 min.
Meanwhile Cook Pasta to just short of al dente.
2add tomatoes, stir allow to bubble, add cheese, more if you want, as it thickens add chicken broth. Continue to allow to bubble. Allow to thicken, we often use a handful of light Panko bread crumbs. When it becomes thick, cheesy and smells great, add wine and shrimp.
3Cook shrimp till just pink, add pasta to pan, add additional cheese, allow pasta to become coated with sauce and cheese and warmed through.....Plate and serve immediately. Serve warm Texas toast and a salad.....that's dinner and it's DELISH
