I have been making this for years, It always tastes fantastic even though I break a few culinary rules eg. cheese and seafood. My sister and I found a recipe 25 years ago ...don't remember where we first saw it, but with all the tweaks we call it our own ....it is delicious!

Ingredients

  • 11/2 sticks butter 1 to 11/2 stick
  • 1 package angel hair pasta
  • 3-4 cloves garic chopped
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 1 pinch cayene pepper
  • 1 small oinion small/ green oinions
  • 1+ cup parmesan cheese or romano, or mixed
  • 1 can tomatoes petit chopped or fresh
  • 4 pinches salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/8 pinches thyme, dried or fresh
  • 1 can chicken broth, low-fat or vegetable broth if needed to thin out liquid
  • 11/2 pounds shrimp medium
  • 1 teaspoon mortons seasonings
  • 1 cup white dry wine (optional)

How To Make shrimp delish

  • Step 1
    Melt Butter. Saute garlic,onion and thyme, about 3 min. Meanwhile Cook Pasta to just short of al dente.
  • Step 2
    add tomatoes, stir allow to bubble, add cheese, more if you want, as it thickens add chicken broth. Continue to allow to bubble. Allow to thicken, we often use a handful of light Panko bread crumbs. When it becomes thick, cheesy and smells great, add wine and shrimp.
  • Step 3
    Cook shrimp till just pink, add pasta to pan, add additional cheese, allow pasta to become coated with sauce and cheese and warmed through.....Plate and serve immediately. Serve warm Texas toast and a salad.....that's dinner and it's DELISH
