Who doesn't love a freshly made bowl of pasta with fresh ingredients right from the garden!!

Ingredients

  • 1 box rigatoni pasta, cooked
  • 1 cup pasta water reserved,maybe more if needed
  • 1 bunch broccoli rapini blanched
  • 1 jar red roasted peppers sliced
  • 4-5 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup fresh italian parsley chopped
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves torn
  • 2 cups diced fresh tomatoes
  • 2 cups fresh grated romano cheese

How To Make rigatoni ala fresco

  • Step 1
    Toss together all of the above ingredients but saving the fresh herbs for garnish. Grilled sliced chicken breast can be added along with fresh mozzarella cheese. For added flavor sprinkle with additional grated cheese too!
  • Step 2
    A very good addition s a fresh tossed salad and some good crusty bread with butter. Don't forget the red wine,enjoy!
