A creamy pumpkin pasta sauce that goes great over a variety of different pastas. I ate mine with sweet potato gnocchi and loved it!

1/2 can(s)
pure pumpkin puree
3/4 can(s)
chicken stock
1 Tbsp
olive oil
large onion, chopped
2 clove
garlic, chopped
1 1/2 c
zucchini, chopped
basil leaves, chopped
1 tsp
dried rosemary, or use fresh
1 tsp
garlic salt
1 Tbsp
garam masala
1 tsp
4 Tbsp
half & half
salt and pepper to taste
pasta of choice

How to Make Pumpkin pasta sauce


  • 1In a large skillet, saute onion, garlic, and zucchini in olive oil. Let cook for about 5 minutes.
  • 2Add in pumpkin puree and chicken stock. Cook for several minutes, until the stock and puree are well combined. The sauce should begin to slightly thicken.
  • 3Add in your spices, rosemary, and basil and let simmer for 15 minutes
  • 4Cook your choice of pasta on the side.
