3 tspminced garlic

1onion, chopped

1carrot, finely chopped

2 Tbspfresh parsley, chopped

1 tspdried oregano

4 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

114.5 oz can whole, peeled tomatoes

2 ccannellini beans, drained

8 ozmacaroni
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese

How to Make pasta fazool
- Place oil in lg skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic, onion, carrot, parsley, basil and oregano until tender.
- Add tomatoes, plus 1/4 cup of the tomato juices. Season w/ salt and pepper. Cover, simmer 10 min, stirring often until veggies are tender.
- Add the beans. Simmer 20 min. Meanwhile cook pasta as directed, drain. Toss pasta w/ butter and parmesan cheese. Add pasta to bean mix and stir.
