This is the result of my husband's sauce recipe being combined with my own. Overall, it is superior to either recipe in it's original form.

We called it what we did due to an inside joke about how we meat on a Star Wars gaming site and our characters got romantically involved over cooking a pasta and chicken dinner.

How to Make Pap & Gert Kenobi's Secret Sauce

  1. Brown meat with onion, celery salt, garlic, olive oil and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except tomato paist.
  3. Bring to a bubbling simmer then turn down to very low and simmer for 2-4 hours depending on personal taste. About 10 minuets before the sauce is served, add 1-4 tablespoons of tomato paste for flavor.
  4. Serve over pasta, vegetables, rice, on meatloaf, baked potatoes, etc. This is an all purpose Italian tomato sauce and is great on almost anything.

Feel free to switch the meat to ground turkey, vegan meat substitute, or leave it out and just brown the onions for a pizza sauce.
