Ingredients
- 1 - box ziti pasta,uncooked
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 package sliced baby portobella mushrooms
- 1 can whole medium black olives
- 1/2 cup chopped red and yellow bell pepper
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup finely shredded pecorino romano cheese(3/4 c to mix in and 1/4c for garnish)
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh basil,finely shredded(1/8 c to mix in,1/8c for garnish)
- 2 cloves garlic,grated or crushed
- 1 - small can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup merlot
- 1 can 6 oz beef broth
- 4 cups hot water
How To Make one pan pasta

Step 1Brown the ground Beef.Add mushrooms,onion,garlic,olives and peppers. Stir in pasta(uncooked),tomato sauce and 1/8 c Basil,salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.Add wine,beef broth and hot water. Stir and cook on medium heat in deep covered frying pan until most of the liquid is evaporated and pasta is Al Dente. Stir in Ricotta and 3/4 c of Pecorino Romano and cover,turning off heat.When cheese is melted,serve.Garnish with remaining cheese and Basil.

Step 2This is very easy! Serve with small dinner salad and crusty French Bread.
