nana's beef tips with noodles
I made this for supper one night and my grandson enjoyed it. Whenever he comes over now he requests me to cook this for him. He's a picky eater so I am happy to make something that he likes.

Nana's beef tips with noodles are a hearty and comforting meal. After simmering, the stew meat is extremely tender. It's smothered in a rich and savory homemade brown gravy. We served it over noodles following the recipe and this was a tasty meal. But, mashed potatoes would be a delicious option too.

Ingredients
- STEW MEAT
- 1 1/2 - 2 pounds stew meat
- 1 - 2 teaspoons Lawry's seasoning salt
- 1/4 - 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 - 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 1/2 - 3 cups water, reserve broth after simmering
- FOR SERVING
- 1 package extra wide egg noodles
- BEEF GRAVY
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon Lawry's seasoning salt, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 1/2 - 3 cups reserved beef broth from cooked stew meat
- 1 can beef broth (14.5 oz)
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
How To Make nana's beef tips with noodles

Step 1Sprinkle stew meat with seasoned salt.

Step 2Coat with flour.

Step 3Heat oil in large saucepan.

Step 4Brown stew meat on all sides in hot oil.

Step 5Add 2 1/2 - 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Boil on medium/high heat until the meat is tender (about 1 hr 15 min - 1 hr 30 min). Add water as needed.

Step 6Cover and let stand.

Step 7Prepare noodles per package directions.

Step 8Remove stew meat and broth and place in a bowl. For the gravy, in the saucepan the meat was cooked in, melt butter.

Step 9Then add flour.

Step 10Stir for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Add season salt and black pepper.

Step 11Add stew meat, reserved broth, and a can of beef broth to the flour mixture in the saucepan.

Step 12Simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally.

Step 13Add paprika.

Step 14Serve over cooked noodles. Can also be served with rice or mashed potatoes.
