Ingredients

  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 - celery stalks, cut thin on the bias
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 - 6 oz pkg frozen pea pods, thawed
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 4 ounces linguini, cooked and drained
  • 2 - scallions, sliced

How To Make my favorite shrimp lo-mein

  • Step 1
    Cut shrimp in 1/2 lengthwise. In small bowl, stir together soy sauce and cornstarch, set aside. Pour sesame oil into lg skillet, over med-high heat. Stir fry celery and onion 2 mins.
  • Step 2
    Add cabbage, pea pods and carrot. Cook, stir frying 2 mins. Remove veggies from skillet. Add 1/2 the shrimp and cook for 3 mins. When all shrimp is cooked, Stir in soy sauce mix.
  • Step 3
    Cook until thickened and bubbly. Return veggies to skillet. Add linguini and scallions. Toss everything together for 2 mins until heated through.
