Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 3 Tbsp
    light soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 2
    celery stalks, cut thin on the bias
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2 c
    shredded cabbage
  • 1
    6 oz pkg frozen pea pods, thawed
  • 1 medium
    carrot, shredded
  • 4 oz
    linguini, cooked and drained
  • 2
    scallions, sliced

How to Make My favorite shrimp lo-mein

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut shrimp in 1/2 lengthwise. In small bowl, stir together soy sauce and cornstarch, set aside. Pour sesame oil into lg skillet, over med-high heat. Stir fry celery and onion 2 mins.
  2. Add cabbage, pea pods and carrot. Cook, stir frying 2 mins. Remove veggies from skillet. Add 1/2 the shrimp and cook for 3 mins. When all shrimp is cooked, Stir in soy sauce mix.
  3. Cook until thickened and bubbly. Return veggies to skillet. Add linguini and scallions. Toss everything together for 2 mins until heated through.
