  • 2 c
    light sour cream
  • 2 c
    low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 tsp
    dried parsley
  • 1
    8 oz pkg no-yolk noodles
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 lb
    ground turkey breast or lean ground beef
  • 6 oz
    tomato paste
  • 1
    14 oz jar pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste.

How to Make Moms healthy creamy pizza casserole


  1. Heat oven to 325. Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. Cook noodles as directed, drain, return to pot. In small bowl, combine sour cream, cottage cheese, onion and parsley.
  2. Heat oil in lg skillet, over medium heat. Add ground turkey or beef. Cook until fully browned, drain fat if using beef. Stir in tomato paste, pizza sauce, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
  3. Simmer 5 mins. In baking pan, layer 1/3 of meat sauce, 1/2 noodles, and 1/2 sour cream mix, repeat layers. Bake, covered for 1 hr, or until bubbly.
