I don't remember where I got this recipe but the family likes it anytime I make it. It makes a wonderful side dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • dash worcestershire sauce

How To Make macaroni and cheese from scratch

  • Step 1
    Cook macaroni according to package instructions.
  • Step 2
    Drain and return to pot.
  • Step 3
    Over low heat, add butter and stir until melted.
  • Step 4
    Add cream and cheese and heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
  • Step 5
    Season with a dash or two of worcestershire sauce.
  • Step 6
    Serve at once.
