This is an old Velveeta recipe, and I don't know where my mother got it. It is simple and basic and soooo good!! my photos

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - stick butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 pound cooked elbow macaroni

How To Make macaroni and cheese

  • Step 1
    In a saucepan, melt butter. Slowly add flour to pan, stirring constantly. Add milk, a little at a time.
  • Step 2
    Add salt, and cubed cheese, stirring until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Combine cheese mixture with cooked macaroni, in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake 30 minutes in 375 degree oven PS: My pictures show the recipe is doubled (very easy to do if making for a crowd).
