Both my husband and I have to eat low fat most of the time so I thought I would post one of our recent recipes for Spaghetti sauce..

Ingredients
- 1 pound extra lean ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced (or more to taste)
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper, chopped fine
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes with juice or 16oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 can 6 ounce tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 - beef bouillon, cubes
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make low fat spaghetti sauce

Step 1Crumble and brown ground beef. Drain off all fat; wipe out frying pan.

Step 2Turn beef into colander, and rinse with cold water. Pat dry with paper towel; return to pan.

Step 3Add garlic, onion, pepper, mushrooms and cook over medium low heat, stirring as necessary until veggies are soft.

Step 4Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Add seasonings and simmer until hot throughout. Adjust seasonings to taste and serve over pasta with low fat Parmesan sprinkled over.
