I have no idea what this name means ; It was one of my grandma's recipes but I remember her making it often. This can be served as a side dish or as a main course dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage ; sliced
  • 8 ounces spaghetti ; uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 large onions ; sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

How To Make lazanki

  • Step 1
    Bring a large pot of salted water to boil ; add cabbage and cook until tender ; about 15 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Mean while bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta for about 8-10 minutes until Al Dente. Drain.
  • Step 3
    While the cabbage and pasta are boiling ; in a skillet with the oil saute the onions until tender.
  • Step 4
    Combine the cabbage , pasta , onions , salt & pepper and soy sauce together and mix well.
  • Step 5
    Transfer to a buttered 13x9" baking dish.
  • Step 6
    Bake in a pre-heated oven @ 450° for 30 minutes.
