I have no idea what this name means ; It was one of my grandma's recipes but I remember her making it often. This can be served as a side dish or as a main course dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium
    head cabbage ; sliced
  • 8 oz
    spaghetti ; uncooked
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 large
    onions ; sliced
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce

How to Make Lazanki

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil ; add cabbage and cook until tender ; about 15 minutes.
  2. Mean while bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta for about 8-10 minutes until Al Dente. Drain.
  3. While the cabbage and pasta are boiling ; in a skillet with the oil saute the onions until tender.
  4. Combine the cabbage , pasta , onions , salt & pepper and soy sauce together and mix well.
  5. Transfer to a buttered 13x9" baking dish.
  6. Bake in a pre-heated oven @ 450° for 30 minutes.
