Ingredients
- 1 package pepperoni
- 1/2 pound ground beef (i prefer sirlion)
- 1/2 pound pork sausage
- 1 medium onion finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic finely minced
- 1 tablespoon whole basil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 16 oz cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 6 oz cans tomato paste
- 10 ounces lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1 1/2 cups riccotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan or ramano cheese
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound mozzarella cheese
How To Make lasagna

Step 1In a skillet with a little EVOO fry pepperoni, then place on papertowl to drain, in same skillet brown and crumble ground beef and sausage, with onion and garlic, spoon off excess grease.

Step 2to meat mixture add basil, tomatoes, tomato paste and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt (or to you liking, simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

Step 3In a large bowl combine ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, salt and pepper, mix well.

Step 4Place 1/2 the noodles in a 13x9 baking dish, spread 1/2 the cheese mixture over noodles, then 1/2 the meat mixture, place in a single layer 1/2 the pepperoni, then 1/2 the mozzarella, repeat layers.

Step 5Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, let stand 10 minutes.
