macaroni and cheese pizza

Recipe my kids loved growing up- when they come home now and then we will make it together.

yield one 14 inch pizza or two 9-inch pie pans

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 10 ounces can condensed cheddar cheese soup,undiluted
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1/4 cup minced green bell pepper
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 1//2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 15 ounces can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef, cooked and scrambled and season to taste

How To Make macaroni and cheese pizza

  • Step 1
    Cook macaroni and drain well. Add soup, onion, pepper and eggs, mix well. Spread mixture in greased 14 inch pizza or 2-9 inch pie plates. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Pour tomato sauce in a bowl and add seasonings mix well. Pour evenly over macaroni and sprinkle crumbled hamburger and cheese over top and bake 10 minutes longer..
