italian seasoning mix (salt free)

This is the recipe I keep on hand and use in many dishes...Italian or not. Most recipes I found call for Marjoram. I always forget to pick it up so my recipe does not use it. I also don't add salt but feel free to use them in yours. And as always adjust to fit your taste.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dried basil
  • 1/4 cup each garlic powder, onion powder and oregano
  • 1/8 cup each dried thyme and parsley
  • 2 tablespoons each dried rosemary and sage
  • large pinch red pepper flakes

How To Make italian seasoning mix (salt free)

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in an oversized air tight container. Shake vigorously to mix. (I use old clean jelly or pickle jars.) Store as you would other herbs and spices.
