Everyone remembers their first love. I remember my first love's dad's best dish ever. Its called Hamburger Italiano and it is tasty and oh-so-easy.

1/4 c
butter, unsalted
1/2 c
chopped onion
1/2 c
chopped green pepper
1 1/2 lb
ground hamburger
1 1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
8 oz
cooked macaroni
1 can(s)
3 oz mushroom - drained
1 can(s)
tomato soup
1-2 can(s)
1/2 c
grated italian cheese

How to Make Hamburger Italiano


  • 1Saute the green pepper, onion and butter until slightly brown. Use a saute pan that will hold all ingredients above except the macaroni noodles and cheese
  • 2Add Hamburger and cook till hamburger is no longer pink. Drain.
  • 3Add all spices to the pan. Add worcestershire, soup, rotel, and mushrooms to the pan. Stir and heat for about 3-5 minutes. (NOTE: If you like spicy then use two cans of Rotel. If not just use one.)
  • 4Add cooked macaroni to a large casserole dish. Pour pan mixture onto noodles and gently stir to combine all together. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • 5Bake in oven at 350 for 20-30 minutes. Serve with rolls or crusty french bread and a salad.
