smallonion - chopped
1/2 smallgreen pepper chopped
2 mediumfresh tomatoes - chopped
3 stalk(s)celery , sliced
2 tspminced garlic
1 tspdried basil
1 can(s)stewed tomatoes w/garlic,basil & oregano
1 can(s)6 oz. tomato paste
1 can(s)6 to 12 oz. tomato sauce
How to Make GRAMMA CATHY’S ORIGINAL SPAGHETTI SAUCE
- In large skillet brown ground beef and celery, fresh tomatoes, onion & green pepper. Add salt & pepper to taste.
Place in slow cooker & add rest of ingredients. Cook low for 6 hours until vegetables are done.
Can also be cooked on stove top on low in large kettle.
- seasonings can be adjusted to personal taste.
