1 small
onion (diced)
1 can(s)
tomatoes, canned italian-style and diced
3 Tbsp
tomato paste
1 Tbsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
red pepper flakes
1 1/2 to 2 c
whole wheat penna pasta (don't over cook) will finish in sauce.
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 to 1 c
of the pasta water
3/4 c
parmesan cheese

How to Make Ghoulash


  • 1In large sauce pan, brown hamburger, & onion, add salt, & pepper to taste. (drain).
  • 2Add tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic powder, red pepper flakes.
  • 3In another pot boil enough water for pasta. cook 7 to 9 minutes. add pasta to hamburger, & tomato sauce, add the pasta water. (if sauce is to thick add more pasta water). cover & simmer, add parmesan cheese on top. enjoy!
