Ingredients
- 12 ounces linguine, uncooked
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1-1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper(optional)
- 1 pint mini tomatoes. halved
- 6 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
How To Make garlicky shrimp linguine

Step 1Cook the linguine according to package directions omitting salt, drain.

Step 2Melt 4 teaspoons of the butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the shrimp with 1/2 teas of the salt and add to the skillet. Cook until pink and opaque, 1-1/2 minutes on each side. Transfer to a plate.

Step 3Melt the remaining butter in the same skillet over medium high heat. Add the garlic and optional red pepper; cook, stirring, until fragrant about 30 seconds. Add the tomatoes and the remaining 1/2 tsp salt, stirring until the tomatoes begin to wilt 1-2 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook until heated through, about 1 minute longer.

Step 4Add the cooked linguine, parsley, and lemon juice; cook, tossing until well combined.
