  • 3 c
    uncooked bow tie pasta
  • 8 c
    chopped cabbage
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 6 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 lb
    kielbasa
  • ·
    for a healthier dish i use olive oil in place of the margarine & low fat kielbasa. you may want to add salt, but i try to limit sodium.

How to Make Fried Cabbage & Pasta with Sausage

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook bow tie pasta as directed on pkg. Drain, rinse with hot water. In large skillet, cook cabbage & onions in 4 tbsp of margarine for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring occassionally. Add pasta & remaining 2 tbsp. margarine; mix well. Place kielbasa on top of mixture. Cover; cook over low heat about 15-20 minutes or until kielbasa is hot & flavors have blended.
