Ingredients

  • 12 oz
    fettuccine pasta (may substitute your choice)
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2 lb
    ground chuck
  • 6 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 c
    dry white wine
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese

How to Make FETTUCINE WITH SPICY MEAT SAUCE

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pot.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and add the beef. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic, red pepper, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. black pepper.
  3. Add the tomatoes and wine to the skillet and simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Add the sauce and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan to the pasta and toss to combine. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan before serving.
