Ingredients
- 6 slices turkey bacon - chopped
- 1 1/2 cups fat free half and half
- 1/2 cup liquid egg substitute
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound fettucine
- 1 cup frozen pea
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese- grated
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
How To Make fettuccine carbonara

Step 1Bring a large pot of slightly salted water to a boil.

Step 2Cook bacon in skillet. Whisk half and half, egg substitute, flour, nutmeg, salt, pepper in a bowl.

Step 3Add pasta to boiling water. Cook until al dente.

Step 4Add peas and cream mixture to skillet; cook, whisking until slightly thickened, 5 mins. (do not heat quickly or sauce will separate.

Step 5Drain pasta; don't rinse. In bowl, mix with sauce cheese and parsley.
