turkey bacon - chopped
1 1/2 c
fat free half and half
1/2 c
liquid egg substitute
1 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1/4 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1 lb
1 c
frozen pea
1/2 c
parmesan cheese- grated
2 Tbsp
chopped parsley

How to Make Fettuccine Carbonara


  • 1Bring a large pot of slightly salted water to a boil.
  • 2Cook bacon in skillet. Whisk half and half, egg substitute, flour, nutmeg, salt, pepper in a bowl.
  • 3Add pasta to boiling water. Cook until al dente.
  • 4Add peas and cream mixture to skillet; cook, whisking until slightly thickened, 5 mins. (do not heat quickly or sauce will separate.
  • 5Drain pasta; don't rinse. In bowl, mix with sauce cheese and parsley.
