An unusual alfredo, w/ hints of texas and mexicana flavors. You can make it spicier by using spicy picante sauce or make it milder, according to your tastes.

  • 1 pound fettuccine
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup picante sauce
  • 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • - parsley for garnish

How To Make easy texicana alfredo

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta as direcetd, drain. Put into a lg bowl. In saucepan, combine butter, picante sauce and parmesan cheese. Cook over low, stirring, until butter is melted.
  • Step 2
    Remove pan from heat. Stir in sour cream. Pour sauce over pasta. Toss to coat. garnish w/ parsley.
