An unusual alfredo, w/ hints of texas and mexicana flavors. You can make it spicier by using spicy picante sauce or make it milder, according to your tastes.

    picante sauce
  • 2/3 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 c
    light sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • ·
    parsley for garnish

How to Make Easy texicana alfredo


  1. Cook pasta as direcetd, drain. Put into a lg bowl. In saucepan, combine butter, picante sauce and parmesan cheese. Cook over low, stirring, until butter is melted.
  2. Remove pan from heat. Stir in sour cream. Pour sauce over pasta. Toss to coat. garnish w/ parsley.
