Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    sweet italian turkey sausage, casings removed
  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 2 c
    lower-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 c
    tomato paste
  • 1 pkg
    velveet mac and cheese
  • 1-3/4 c
    salsa

How to Make Easy chili macaroni

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oil in lg skillet over med-high heat. Add sausage. Cook, stirring until it becomes crumbly and is no longer pink.
  2. Drain, if needed. Add chili powder, stirring to coat. Add broth and tomato paste, stirring from bottom of skillet. Stir in macaroni shells. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to med-low. Cover, simmer 8 mins or until shells are tender. Stir in cheese packet. Add salsa. Simmer, uncovered 1 min, or until heated through.
