I love this dish because it's so simple, yet so yummy. Kids love this dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sweet italian turkey sausage, casings removed
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cups lower-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 package velveet mac and cheese
  • 1-3/4 cup salsa

How To Make easy chili macaroni

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in lg skillet over med-high heat. Add sausage. Cook, stirring until it becomes crumbly and is no longer pink.
  • Step 2
    Drain, if needed. Add chili powder, stirring to coat. Add broth and tomato paste, stirring from bottom of skillet. Stir in macaroni shells. Bring to a boil.
  • Step 3
    Reduce heat to med-low. Cover, simmer 8 mins or until shells are tender. Stir in cheese packet. Add salsa. Simmer, uncovered 1 min, or until heated through.
