Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 1 can (med.) chopped tomatoes, drained
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup sour cream
How To Make down 'n' dirty rice casserole

Step 1In a large skillet, brown the ground chuck over medium heat. Drain.

Step 2In a medium skillet, cook celery and onion in 1 Tbsp. butter for 5-10 minutes over medium-low heat, until almost tender, but not browned.

Step 3In a large casserole dish, mix all ingredients together except the cheese.

Step 4Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar over the top of the mixture and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 25 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
