How to Make Crockpot Lasagna

Step-by-Step

  1. Sauté meat, onion, bell pepper and garlic until meat is not longer pinkish and onion, pepper, and garlic are tender.
  2. Meanwhile mix sauces and spices together. Add meat mixtures to sauce mixture and simmer 30 minutes.
  3. Spray crockpot or slow cooker with cooking spray or you can use a slow cooker liner. Add beaten egg to cottage cheese in a small bowl and mix well.
  4. If you want to boil noodles, boil no longer than 5 minutes. Ladle some sauce mixture into the bottom of your crockpot or slow cooker.
  5. Add 3 noodles, top with some cottage cheese mixture, add some sauce, then some mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Repeat layers.
  6. Top with cheeses. Cook approximately 4 - 6 hours in crockpot or slow cooker, depending on your appliance.
  7. NOTE: If you're going to cook this most of the day, cook it on low; if you're only going to cook it a few hours, cook on high.
