Ingredients

  • 1 box
    penne pasta, cooked and drained, kept hot
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    chicken broth
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 2 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 1/3 c
    grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Creamy Garlic Penne Pasta

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter and add garlic in med. saucepan, cook over med. heat for 1 min. Add flour and cook 1 min., stirring constantly. Stir in broth and milk and cook, stirring frequently, until sauce boils and thickens. Add parsley, salt and pepper and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Toss hot pasta with sauce and serve immediately.
