Ingredients
- 1 - block (8 oz.) monterey jack cheese
- 1 block (8 oz.) mild cheddar cheese
- 1 box (16 oz.) macaroni noodles
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1-2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups milk
How To Make creamy baked macaroni & cheese

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Shred Blocks of Cheese seprately.

Step 3Cook and drain macaroni noodles according to package directions.

Step 4While noodles are cooking, melt butter in bottom of a medium sauce pan. Add flour and stir with a wire whisk until smooth.

Step 5Add milk to flour roux, salt and monteray jack cheese only. Stir until chesee is incorporated into the milk smoothly and thickened.

Step 6Mix together monterey jack cheese sauce, Cooked and drained macaroni noodles. Pour into a 9x13 glass casserole.

Step 7Top with grated cheddar cheese.

Step 8Bake in oven just long enough for cheese to melt. (5-10 minutes.)
