How To Make chicken with onion cream sauce linguine
-
Step 1Heat the olive oil and butter in a large saute pan. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper and paprika. Cook the chicken breast in the oil and butter for about 5 minutes each side until no longer pink. Remove the chicken and set aside to rest.
-
Step 2Add the onion and garlic to the pan and saute 3 minutes. Add the chicken stock. Bring to a boil then reduce to low and simmer 10 minutes. Add the heavy cream, milk, scallions, and Parmesan cheese.
-
Step 3Simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 more minutes. Add the cooked linguine and stir to incorporate the sauce into the pasta.
-
Step 4Slice the chicken breast diagonally. Plate the linguine and top with a chicken breast. Garnish with parsley.
