I love meatballs in spaghetti but they don't get throughout the spaghetti enough for me. So now I have the wonderful meatball flavor without the hassle and time to make them! This can be a one pot meal if you remove the meat after cooking, add water and cook the spaghetti. Drain when done and put the meat and sauces in pan with the pasta and combine.Everyone loves this recipe!

Ingredients For broken cowboy spaghetti

  • 1 lb
    very lean ground beef
  • 1 can
    el pato tomato sauce
  • 1 jar
    spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp
    each salt and pepper

    Combine beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs and seasonings. Cook in pan til all the redness is gone. Not breaking up too much because these are "broken" cowboy meatballs!

    Add spaghetti sauce and as much of the ElPato as desired. I used the whole can to make my spaghetti spicy!

    Add cooked Spaghetti and enjoy with cheese on top as desired.
