Ingredients
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3 pounds lean beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 3/4 cup white wine, medium
- 1/2 pound bacon
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 large onion diced
- 6 sprigs parsley
- 3 cups beer
- 1 - bay leaf
- 7 medium carrots cutup
- - salt and pepper, to taste..
- - hot cooked noodles
How To Make bob's daring beer and wine stew..

Step 1In a hot dutch oven cook bacon with oil till almost crisp. Put flour in a bag, add meat and shake to coat meat.. Remove bacon from oven with slotted spoon, cut up bacon and set a side.. Brown beef chuck in bacon drippings on all sides..

Step 2Now add garlic and onion cook 4-5 minutes.. Add beer, wine, bay leaf parsley, and thyme.. Partially cover and cook over med heat for 1 1/2 hours.. Remove bay leaf and add carrots. You may need to add more beer, cook for about one hour more... Serve over cooked noodles..
