I love pasta and I always make my own pasta sauce. I start in the morning and let in cook for about 5 to 6 hours in the crock pot. I use this sauce for all kinds of pasta dishes I make! Recipe Source~ Me!

Ingredients
- MEAT SAUCE
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 - (28 ounce) can diced tomato (i use contadina)
- 1 - (28 ounce) can tomato sauce (i use contadina)
- 1 - (28 ounce) can tomato puree (i use contadina)
- 1 can (8 ounce) can tomato paste (i use contadina)
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon basil
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup red wine
How To Make angela's meat sauce

Step 1In large nonstick skillet, saute onion & garlic in olive oil on low heat about 5 minutes. Add ground beef, salt and pepper and cook on medium-high heat until ground beef is no longer pink.

Step 2Meanwhile, add the remaining 9 ingredients to slow cooker. Add ground beef mixture & pan drippings to crock pot and cook on 6 to 8 hour setting.

Step 3Serve with your favorite pasta dishes!
