Ingredients
- 1 large yellow onion, sliced
- 1 pound hamburger
- 12 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
How To Make american chop suey

Step 1In a large pan, saute sliced onion in the vegetable oil for 5 minutes.

Step 2Add hamburger and cook until done.

Step 3Mix in the 2 cans of tomato soup and simmer for 5 minutes. Note: Do not add milk or water.

Step 4Add the cooked elbow macaroni and mix well.
