Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion
- 3/4 cup green bell pepper
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2/3 cup tomato paste
- 3/4 teaspoon oregano, dried
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 2-2/3 cup shell noodle
- 1 cup creamed cottage cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Step 1In a large saucepan over med heat cook meat , onion, bell peper until veg are tender and meat is no longer pink. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano salt and pepper: cover and simmer 20 minute. Heat oven to 375 f.

Step 2Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package direction for 8 minutes, drain. In 2 1/2 qt. casserole, layer one-half pasta, then meat suace. Spoon cottage cheese on top and sprinkle with 1/2 cheese. Repeat layers. Bake 15 minutes, cover loosely with foil and then uncover 15 minutes more until hot and bubbly..
