veggie pitas
This is a recipe I found over 25 years back in a "Fit for life" book. It combines cooked and uncooked veggies in a mix that will send you back for more, and more , and more. It has been my favorite sandwitch ever since. I believe they were called "NY goodwitches" It is the BBQ sauce on the onions that makes it.

Ingredients
- 1/2 small onion sauted until tender crisp and add a tablespoon or two bbq sauce to coat them well
- - lettuce, tomato, avacado, thin sliced broccoli, cauliflower, black olives, and any other veggie you want
- 1 - pita pocket

Step 1Assemble the veggies in the pita and top with the BBQ onions. These are out of this world yummy.
