Ingredients

2 pkg
tofu, firm - non gmo (mashed)
4 Tbsp
mckays chicken style seasoning & broth
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
onion powder
1/8 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 c
walnuts (chopped)
5 c
kashi flakes ... organic crispy rice & wheat flakes w/ trace amounts of strawberries and raspberries
1/2 c
oil

SAUCE FOR TOP

1/2 c
brown sugar
1/2 c
water
1 c
ketchup

How to Make Vegan Tofu Dinner Loaf

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mash tofu with a potato masher.
  • 2Combine remaining ingredients with the tofu, mix well and put into lightly greased oblong 9 x 13 glass baking dish.
  • 3For Sauce:
    In medium bowl combine water and brown sugar. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Add ketchup, and mix until smooth. Pour over top of loaf.
  • 4Bake at 350 for 45 min. or until done.
    Watch closely so the bottom does not get over done.

    You can use any flakes you like this is a very forgiving recipe. If you use the flakes with strawberries and raspberries remove them before using the flakes for the loaf.
  • 5Let set for 10 minutes before serving.
