veg fried rice is the most delicious and simplest rice dinner recipe in India in which long grain basmati rice fried with fresh vegetables, fragrant with a few Indian spices, soy sauce, and vinegar.

Ingredients For veg fried rice

  • 250 g
    basmati rice
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped capsicum
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped carrots
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped spring onions
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped french beans
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh green peas
  • 1 md
    bay leaf

    chopped ginger garlic

    soy sauce
  • 1 tsp

    nut-meg powder

How To Make veg fried rice

    At first, wash and soak basmati rice in water for 20 min.
  • 2
    Then pour water in a deep pan, sprinkle some salt and make water to boil some time.

    After that, mix soaked rice and partially cooked till al-dente, drain the rice in a colander, and set aside for cool some time.

    Now, in a pan pour oil, add whole spices, ginger garlic paste and saute some time until the raw smell completely disappears.

    Next, add chopped fresh vegetables including, capsicum, carrot, french beans, green chili, green peas, and saute 3 to 4 min in medium flame.

    Also pour soy sauce, vinegar, sprinkle some salt,water and mix everything in medium flame for another 2 min.

    Finally, add rice, sprinkle some salt, black pepper, nutmeg powder, mace powder, and fluff the rice with a sharp spatula 2 to 3 min at low flame.

    Now, garnish this fried rice with spring onions and serves hot with chilli chicken.
