Makes a good sandwich for the next day if you have any left over.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages 14oz tofu firm, non gmo (mashed)
  • 4 tablespoons mckays chicken style instant seasoning & broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 - eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 5 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • SAUCE FOR TOP
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup ketchup

How To Make tofu loaf

  • Step 1
    Mash tofu with a potato masher.
  • Step 2
    Combine remaining ingredients to tofu and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Pour into lightly greased oblong 9 x 13 glass baking dish.
  • Step 4
    For the Sauce: Combine brown sugar and water, mix until sugar dissolves. Add ketchup and mix until smooth.
  • Step 5
    Pour sauce over loaf to cover the entire loaf.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until done.
